No, But i must admit the friction plates do look very thin even when new, perhaps 2.5mm tops (one pad each side).

IMO its hard to tell with these plates (unless your a pro i guess) as to me anyway the new ones and used ones look fuck all different except for a bit of blueness/shineyness on the paddles, there is that little meat on them that it looks like its almost at the rivvets when new anyway!

woodford garage charged me £175 for the plate on its own if u need a new one

i wouldnt use a second hand one tho lol

rhys i didint want uprated cover too hard on the foot

and i have an old style ford AP genuine cover

the whole clutch kit is about £350 ish

plate alone £175 saved a lot of money too

It's obviously been used but there's a good few launches in that yet

Cost's buttons really (compared to new) to get them re-lined with new plates.

Really depends upon where its come from... as 1) being used its already been de-stressed and 2) If it's been abused it will start to weaken and explode pretty soon.

Do you put all your money on the black or the red ......... ?

Im not a gambling man so I'd save up and only go for new

got mine relined for £90 all in.

thats for the complete clutch and thrust bearing.
