Default Blu-ray playback jerky?

I noticed last night when playing Planet Earth via my PS3 that some of the slow panning scenes looked a bit jerky/flickery. Has anyone else seen this? Is it a setting problem or just my equipment? Or is it that Planet Earth is 1080i and my TV is 1080p?

I don't get and flicker or blur watching footy or F1 etc so I don't think its the general cheap and slow LCD problem.

The tv is a Sharp Aquos 37" 1080p (I think it was one of the first 1080p's though). PS3 is connected via HDMI at 1920 x 1080 60Hz.

Blu Ray can judder if your TV vant handle 1080 24p that Blu Ray uses. This happens on one of my TV's and the other is fine. The one that works ok uses 1080 24p.

I'll have to have a play, I know I can run the TV at 50Hz as I got it to show a picture on that refresh from my media centre.
