Im having trouble with my car not working with my superchip! all started when the car stopped working one day an wouldnt start, i have a friend come round and look it over and found soon as he unpluged the Superchip it started! (was fine before it failed on me bossting 20psi ect so chip was working) the car runs without the chip (rich and cant take the car over the 7psi limet!

when the superchip is fitted it makes the fuel pump buzz and the relay's tick no stop, As soon as the chip is out its all fine!? the car wont start at all with the chip fitted.

Superchip? Bin it. Get it set up properly

Is it one of these plug in piggy back things? It sounds like its fucked to be honest, i wouldn't plug it back in as it may do some damage to your ecu/other electrical components.

i had the same problem on my FRST if its a blue super chip, bin it and get it mapped properly i am now running megasquirt and its never let me down since

sometimes that can also be a problem with the ecu, have you checked the contact pins in the chip & the tracks in the ecu?

^^ What he said. My old FRST would always do this if left standing or it was cold. Cleaning the chip and ECU contacts always sorted it.

Unfortunately there isn't much you can do to the Fiesta. It's either a chip in the base of the ECU or swap the management.
