I can't and won't comment on AVA or anyone else but PF is generally full of people living WAY beyond their means, I did for a while then decided that I do want my car but I have to prioritise thus meaning the cars done when its done, I'll have my cheap toys to keep me occupied but mostly people on here are trying to better the next person which is what eventually leads to them accepting that they went WAY too far with the project in the first place.

The only way I knew I'd get my Escort done was to ditch the YB and use something I know is within my funding regardless what other people may think of it.

Although I still don't have a completed car, I have less debts, a nice daily driver and cash available to actually enjoy myself outside of the car scene which surely is as important as anything else ?

ive read enough here about ava to put me off visiting them. ive dealt with enough arrogant coonts in the past to last me a lifetime
i dont agree that i or most others consider bettering anyone with their projects.maybe the big power runners are chasing the glory of being the biggest/most powerful/fastest etc but thats not what makes me do it for one.
