I had a curve for 20 months or so and it was great, would highly recommend one of those

It did eventually die, which was annoying, but then it was used a hell of a lot!

I also thought it was shit at first, but once u get used to it, its actually a properly good phone IMO.

Well i'll keep going with it then! Only thing i'm having problem with is when writing a message, if I choose not to use that smart type thing, so the keys look like an ordinary phone's keypad, is there any way of turning on predictive text?

when you go into 'compose sms' press the blackberry button and see if you get an autotext option. Mines got the predictive switched on, fuck know how I did it though!!

When your on that mode, press the Blackberry button and click "Enable Multimap"

Predictive txt will then be off.

I am also having trouble with signal too. My old phone was fine but this one floats around 1-2 bars of signal, if i try to make a call it drops off to nothing. Think its gonna have to go back!

Just do what i said, but instead the button will say "Enable SureType" click that. Voila.

1st one i had came with no software from v took 3 weeks to get it replaced .it works ok good for pics and music but as above ive got chippolata fingers and can delete without trying . bluetooth in foc st is brilliant other than that its a bit big but it was free so hey

But then it changes the keypad to that stupid 2 letters per key, where i want to use it as an ordinary phone keypad (2abc, 3def, 4ghi etc), but with predictive text.

I'm calling vodafone on monday anyway, they can have it back! Fed up with being without a signal at home!

It kinda is and it kinda isnt. It still has a touch screen but you do have to press the screen to confirm key presses etc. Just give me some buttons anyday
