one thing that is annoying is false power claims. Why do people constantly say i have X amount of power without having the proof? IMO Rod had achieved alot with his car, and his claims of X power have been proven.
Its not hard bringing a legend back..its hard creating one and thats what Rod has done.
All that came from someone who is not Rods biggest fan

awesome car cossieking.my fave cossie of all time mate.its a legend mate.
always will be mate.people are talking on here about it being a legend and other people,nameing no names are just fooking jealous cos we aint talking about theres.does a car have to crack 200mph just to be a legend? i dont think so !!!

Can I personally invite you to the RR session of my car it will be measured on a DD rollers & Mike Gurney (Top man UK) will be in attendance as their company has asked for this to happen. It will be measured Off Nitrous to show it really has 800bhp & then on Nitrous jetted for 200bhp, noone knows what that will make. It may have an even bigger Turbo fitted so may make more than we did on the Dyno.
You are a great slater of my car on here but I dont get upset at that mine is proven, the figures at Brunters dont lie.
I trust you will except this offer, you will be treated courtiously & I will feed & water you, its a chance to see just how wrong you are, its insulting to the likes of Mark & Simon Norris. If you dont accept this maybe your mates on here will demand an explanation.

count me in mate im up for going, thats worth seeing, where is dd rollers rod ?
i never claimed my car had the top speed, u just slatted me for the car. back in 2001 when it did that top speed run it was a quick car then, its still quick now mate. i dont want it for top speeds its just a nice alrounder and not even you can denie that mate. when you doing another top speed run then, that would be worth seeing.

got two old fast ford mags somewhere featuring this car both when george had it i think he owned it since it were about three year old. the first one i think is from the mid 90s when it had 17 inch hocks all round and the standard interior and not as much bling under the bonnet still had the 500 kit on though.The second mag is a cosworth special from early 2000 where its got the 18s on the back and the leather trim and lots of bailey underbonnet bits i remember there was something about it being stolen but very early on when george first got it(im sure they took the engine) and it was stored for quite a few years before he got round to doing anything with it.got to be the best known three door though very nice car. il try to dig the mags out over the weekend.

no mate not fitting strips tho like it how it is, will be at all the shows with it next year using my escort this year. might convert it to 4wd over winter so i can get power down better. going to get it on rollers in next couple of months to see what bhp it is over 500 i hope
