Actually pal it was total shite as a Topspeed car got its ass tanned bigtime by the likes of Mike r & Bruce, nice it may be but fast it aint. Nowhere near 500bhp I guess at 450bhp tops.

whats that like your so call 800 bhp cossie like to see that on the rollers mate be lucky to see 700 bhp .
8 greens, roller turbo, 32 psi is at least 500 bhp mate do the maths, or ask one of your mates to who drive it for you.

I still have the old Fast Ford where it mentioned that, I used to love the car, as said it may not have been the fastest but there was just something about it, if I remember rightly the car was owned by George something or other at the time.

Who cares if its not done 180mph or what the history of the car is. ELE is a gorgeous car with lots of special touches that still look stunning today. CossyKing look forward to seeing the car again this year, really is a stunner you have got yourself but you dont need me to tell you that.

when it done top speed it may not of been 500 bhp, but its had more done now and it is. i will also prove later on in the year it will make a top speed of more than 180 mph. this car was not built for top speed runs its just a good alrounder. if i wanted a top speed car i would build one !!!

quite agree mate its quick but if i wanted it to do 200 mph i would make it, but i dont. or buy something that was made to do 200 mph not something thats going to blow up !!!

you may then understand how difficult it actually is...
and you may also realise rod does have the power he claims....because you need it to acheive the speed he has.
500bhp 180mph engines are piss easy to build, it gets interesting over 600 though.
it takes alot of time, money and effort to acheive what rod has with his car, and his car has kept this scene interesting for me for many many years. i personally cant wait to see it run this year.
anyone can just go and by one already done.
you may thoink rods arrogant on here, but thats your opinion, personally i think the guys a fookin legend,,,and you cant argue with the numbers his car produces at brunters

i no what it involves mate im not dissing that, but my cars not built for top speeds thats not what i want it for. i have built my other cars up from standard and am quite capible of building what ever i want, but i got this car as its a nice 3 door and thats what i wanted. it was cheaper for me to buy it than build it myself. WoW haven't seen one of these threads on here in a while, it's got everything in it, arguements, wild claims of theft and bad history and comparisons to totally different specced cars.. Personally i couldn't really give 2 tosses. It's a nice car, and it's fast I don't see why people have to pick holes in things just for the sake of it.
