If cat d I'd agree, cat b is quite substantial, and will put nearly all buyers off.

cat b is a serious big bang. Would you drive a cat b car around the track?? ... image you have a smash in a car that has already been smashed to hell... Would be very dangerous..

Why would anyone go to the extent of putting it back together if it could only be used for motorsport/spares ???

how is it

only thing of any value is engine and transmission and interior the rest you'll be left with for ages

shell is worthless

for anyone to buy that and break would want a quick return on there investment so parts would need to price to sell.
And if you care to look at the moment the market is flooded with cossie parts as everyone is breaking them so parts are cheap anyhow

Only takes an hour to do if you are bent enough:

Steal white escos
Transfer numbers over
Sell stolen escos for nearly 7K on basis its cat b, knowing it will never get road registered so the numbers will never get checked

Seems like easy money to me.

Im NOT saying that is what happened here, just one possible reason its been put back together!

Dont break it, just get an old scrapper escort then swap plates and numbers and there you go!

Cheap escos on the road, like your old green one
