here we go....

its got history that car has, its one of 2 built by m sport rhd, so its one of 2 in the world built by the team who ran the works wrc cars.
thats why its 25 grand less running gear.

if you fancy a complete one ex carlos sainz and m sport also, and ready to go and have 150k spare fill your boots

Cool shell, and im sure its worth 25K to the right person who realises the value of not just the parts like the suspension and brakes, but also of the uniqueness of it, and the amount of time and money that has gone into the shell prep.

Nothing at the moment, too busy with my nova TBH.

So its just tucked up in the garage being used as shelf at the moment.

Probably going to put a 4 Litre lexus V8 into it though at some point.

i might just have to go and quietly crack one off that thing is tidy, but also the price of a small house,

i probably would get a mortgage and just live in that instead oh and move to another country so i could drive it properly being a left hooker

They are good for 600,000 miles if well maintained and left at the original 255bhp, I dont intend to do anything of the sort though, lol

TBH my current scrapheap challenge YB thrown together one afternoon from some random bits of a couple of dead ones has been faultless really, so reliaiblity hasnt been an issue to me, i just fancy a v8 instead, might stick with the lexus automatic (with paddle shift conversion instead) too just for the comedy factor of doing trackdays using only 2 gears as they are so wide, lol

So you've already bought this one then?

Or that was just a completely empty statement and you wouldnt acutally buy as many as you could of shells to this standard for this price?

Who's stalking who rofl

You know full well my comment makes sense, although nowhere do I say I've ever bought one. But yes, if someone could supply me with newly built shells to that exact spec with all that wrc parts included for £25k then yes i'd happily buy them. Altho i'm sure i'd face stiff competition from the real traders like Tim Finch etc.

Thats a tiny fraction of the cost of preparing a real WRC spec car.

having seen the car the only problem with eamonn bolands n2 mwm m sport escort wrc rhd car is it was used as a gravel spec , i have owned gravel spec cars and i promise any of the mongs that go to car shows and expect old used rally cars to be mint if they saw underneath it they would have a look on their faces that would be priceless.

like i say my mate painted the car for hugh hunter who sold it to tommy, its last serious rallying was as a gravel car ,and that shell has seen plenty of hammer underneath, it was originally built for the Irish Tarmac Championship.

this was eammons black other rhd wrc escort r14fmc, both cars were sponsored by hertz rent a car

ok so your interested in the boland rhd escort wrc but your wondering who owned it after big man eammon sold it to buy the black one ?? maybe your wondering how a yellow rhd escort wrc sounds on irish tar.

if you click this link you will see n3mwm doing what it was built to do which was win irish rallys

to build that car win its current spec wouldnt be alot more than is being asked for it anyway the shell can be prepped by gordon vincent for less than 10K, maybe some people do not actually realise the value of cars, history means nothing.

don't agree mate, a old rally car built by a works team is worth more than one bunged together by some mush in a drafty lockup .

if there is a cheeper wrc car less running gear built by m sport i have yet to see it, i know for a fact that escort cosworths and wrc's are going up in value, or at least in the owners estimations.
