Default Perspex

I went to buy some Perspex today, what a pricey material.
I looked at 800mm by 1200mm but £60, about 4mm thick, is there an alternative material as it is only for garden shed windows where the wind has blown them in and broke the original ones.
Any help much appreciated by me and my wallet, thanks

Brilliant, thanks for the help will give that place a try in the morning, Sticker Paul thanks for the offer but with transport/postage costs etc and the chance of it getting broken especially round here where the posties use parcels as footballs not worth the risk but really thanks anyway.

Id go for polycarb mate, perspex/acrylic will crack whereas the polycarb is pretty much bullet proof.
few here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/24-x-18-x-3mm-...742.m153.l1262

its easy to cut and work with too
