Default Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator

Hi,

Brought an Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator of e-bay second hand a few months back. Have just been on the Aeromotive website and have found out that I brought a Universal bypass regulator which according to the spec is suitable for both carburettor and fuel injection application.

In the tech spec it says if using the regulator for fuel injection and you require a base pressure above 20psi then the factory fitted spring needs to be changed to the high pressure spring (20 to 60psi rating). Does anyone know how I can tell if this regulator has the right spring fitted? or where I can get an uprated spring from?

you could get the spring from Aeromotive at a guess

tbh you would be better off changing the spring if your not sure which is fitted- as the unit is second hand you have no idea how much work its done and if the spring has lost any tension over time
