How do you get a job driving trains?!!

Looked on net but no help lol (too much porn!!)

I started out as a guard mate, then pestered them like fook!

Be prepared for loads of sycometric(?) testing, and basic maths skills, engineering questions, communications and the ability to listen!

It's about 2 years start to finish of contstant assesments but once your there, they do tend to leave you alone abit with just the odd ride out and random download.

Also, Forgot to mention, try with your local Passenger Operating Company (TOC) as the Freight boys (FOC) want qualified drivers 99.9% of the time

i tried london underground, i waited 8mths for a reply then got told they had been inundated with applicants so..........
i didnt get in

i applied for london midland about a month ago and i got a reply sayng they had to many applicants
