Sky + cable?

Whate type of cable do I need is it just the same as ordinary sky cable?

ITs not the same cable? As said above if you want one cable its different. However you can have two that do the job. Im not 100% sure what its called but i just had it plumbed into my house while doing the rewire so i got Sky + (same as HD) wired at same time.

if you only have sky (not Sly+) there is only a single cable that comes from the satellite, but once you get Sky+ fitted, there needs to be another cable that comes from the satellite. This is so that You can Record and Watch at the same time. One Cable Records what you want and the other lets you watch another sky channel.

Thats the way i undestand it as my mate works with sky and was asking him what was needed for to do it myself.

what do you mean? I went from regular sky, then I ran another line to have sky+

Yes agree, but just want to make sure he didnt run one cable and expected to get sky+ so its not 100% same as norm sky.

Cheers guys. Already got sky+ but going to shift it to a different room so wanted to make sure it was the same type of cable

twin / dual CT100 cable, or just single CT100 cable but twice the lenth to run it twice
