Just installed a pny nvidia gforce 6200 graphics card and i now have no sound anyone shead any light on it ?

oh and wot resalution should mine scrren be set on for a 37 in ?

 

Check in control panel sounds that nothing is muted, mines been known to mute itself! check for silly things first.

As for screen, what sizes are available and what looks best?

 

right nothing is muted and if it helps its a realtek ac97

 

oh and im using a dvi = hdmi cable as well

 

Double click the speaker icon near the clock and check all the sliders are up aswell, im not treating you like a spastic, just theres so many different sound sliders its easy to get mixed up.

Second thing to check, click star bar, then run, and type "DXDIAG" wait for it to load up and then click the sound tab at the top, does it bring up any errors or does it say no problems found?

 

right scrap it just plugged a set of headfones into the output the relised tv was set to digital and need to be analouge my bad cheers for reply tho
