Boost drops off when on throttle?
an odd one for you guys...
i can be on part throttle making boost (ie 20% throttle, 10psi) then all of a sudden the boost will drop off to 0 (and i can hear a hoise from the engine bay at the same time)
i assume this is NOT normal?
i'm guessing the dumpvalve might be faulty (std recirc) and opening causing the boost to be lost?
this fault is 100% repeatable and always happens when accelerating steadily at part throttle, its a bit annoying as it means i have to apply more throttle to get the boost back and i just want to keep a static rate of acceleration

nope, gotta be mechanical. boost is 6psi with boost controller off and just on actuator pressure. plus ECU not that inteligent.
its only today i realised it made a noise when it did this, so im thinking thats the noise of the DV opening
