Would be interested to see if it actually works on your engine.... be surprised (or worried lol) if your Zetec throws out enough excess fuel into the zorst
it better fookin not be one i gotta keep fukkin about with a switch, looks like it should be a 555 timer circuit as it has the transitor mounted on the top of the box i think
Ummm, not really.... And awfull lot of turbo cars won't produce flames from the exhaust even with the kits on, as it works by igniting un burnt fuel in your exhaust pipe.... If your car is not overfuelling enough it won't have anything to ignite. Main reason it works on turbo charged cars is they tend to throw more fuel out the exhaust than the N/A cars on overrun.
My mates Nova (1600, 8v GSi) has one fitted, but it a custom job made my CTM (next door to Burton Power). The only way his works is he has to press a button on it which cuts the ignition in the engine, but not the fuel, which is them spat down the exhaust to the waiting spark plug and ignited. theoretically the same as revving the nuts off your engine, turning it off and then immediately turing it back on.....
SImple way for your to work - get it down an MoT station and have em crank up the CO till it is off the scale
well, ill be getting one as soon as i get the last little bits made for the throttle bodies so i can give em to my mate to get ally welded, then off to simon for ecu.
