Mfi and efi clocks, whats the bobby more ?
Hi all just got a xr3 carb engine to put in my escort 1300 that is on carb. I broke a EFI xr3i so i had the loom apparently it would be easier to put a full mfi loom in then mess around snipping the wiring and ect ?
I was just wondering if the efi clocks are the same. and do all xr3is have electric mirrors, thanks !
Also how long does it take to put a full loom in ?

The EFi cars run whats called a wasted spark system which means each time the cylinder fires it sparks twice. This means if you run EFi clocks on a non EFi car they will read half the value they are supposed to i.e. showing 1krpm when the engine is doing 2krpm. You'd find it easier to source a set of MFi clocks
