Dojj.. if your comment was about driving the tyre in, I agree now I have had them for a bit over a year.. They are much better now!

Nankang are fine on your daily commute car if you just plod along in it but if your putting them on something with a bit of power that you like to chuck about then theres no point even bothering imo.

What they goin on Tabz?

I have these on my fiesta, albeit it is only a tdci, but I dont have a problem, for under Ł50 delivered and fitted I dont complain. Seem to be ok in the dry, though I dont push it in the wet anyway

Have to say that its size dependant IME with F1's

Had them in a 15" fittment on my Fiesta Z-S and they were utter shite, total rip off and out performed by my toyo's, pirelli p6000 and the bf goodrich profilers i used

However in an 18" fitment on my Mondeo they are excellent both wet and dry and better than the Bridgestone's I took off

I wouldnt say they aren't mega money, they are deffo at the top end of the price scale

They are going on my 2wd sapph, so I am using different ones I think, will give the nanky away to my dad.
I have used F1 on several cars, "total shite" is my thoughts, and "why oh why did I bother again".
My best so far by a mile were GOODYEAR EAGLE VENTURA, easily better than the F1 , but sadly NLA, so next best was UNIROYAL RAINSPORT.
Think I am going with the Vredestein Sprotrac 3 for a try.
Thanks for the comments.

I had a set on my cav 4x4 turbo, and i dont care what anyone says they were the best tyres i had on it. The car would never slide out or lose grip whether it was dry of wet and that car was driven hard! But on the other hand i had them on a different car and they were not half as good, so maybe it just depends if there suited to the car???

Not read all the thread but im pretty sure they use (or used too) the Yokohama tread patterns.

Im not a fan of the F1's either. Had them on a few cars and they were not very good at all in my opinion. The ouside edges wore VERY quickly!

Ive been impressed with continentals before though. Not too expensive and excellent grip in dry or wet, think they were conti-sports or something that i had.
