Default cossie lifters difference between ina and others

need to get some lifters whats the difference between the INA type and other aftermarket ones??

the ina ones are accually vw/audi i think but i stand corrected if i am wrong mate

i lost around 50bhp on cheap lifters, as after 5k they were hardly opening the valves lol

while we are on the subject do cosworth go through lifter alot?ie how long do they last in a tuned motor?

well ive just rebuilt my motor with dyno millage,not touched the cams nor lifters and ive only had the car since july,its got a bd10 inlet with std exhaust but must admit its a little noisey wen cold ie top end especially on deacceleration!

Matt L does genuine ones roosie, not worth thr risk of cheapies, skinflint!!
Why not stick yours on ebay for £100, as a upgrade for a chav car, they will buy them.

i run ina in my car but have used the £35 quid off ebay and had no issues

Heard you can use solid buckets and shims from the old 8v ford diesel engine? If so, has anyone used these on cams originaly designed for hydraulic lifters? Add to this, what clearence is recommended for in + ex?

You can also use SEAT/VW/FIAT ones as well.

Why do cheap lifters only last a few month.Is it cause they are just cheap quality.
