I've seen various figures bandied about for the ST220 Mondeo.

Some are 7.2 seconds for 0-60mph, 7.3 seconds, or even 6.8 seconds.

Anyone ever timed theirs?

I think 7.2 & 7.3 sound like they might be for the estate.

0-100kmh in 7 (goes with the 0-60 in 6.8 which I think is believable), and also the 100-200kmh in 17.6 sec which is very impressive feels in line with my experience. They come into their own in that second 100kmh...

Just to add on from before, the 17.6 sounds right after a look at other figures for other cars on that site.

it's a shame in a way, we're talking about 0-60 but it's the 220's least impressive figure. I mean it's good especially for FWD but it's not as impressive as the way it performs higher up.


Figures I've heard are 0-60 in 6.8, 0-100 in 16sec but I can't remember the sources now.
