Ok peeps,seasons greetings to all.
Does anyone have any experience of fitting/using the Micro dynamics
EMS6 ignition retarder??,maybe fitted 1 of these units on a small turbocharged engine?.
Any info. would be great.

none personally but i know people who have used them for similar things (cologne v6 turbo conversions), they do exactly what it says on the tin really, so if youre after a home grown turbo conversion and don't have the budget to go for a proper management system this will indeed do the trick.

Hi Jim,
Thanks for that,i've got a unique problem mate,i got 'covinced' by my mate to try and sort out his bloody '81 Audi urquattro,5 cyl.turbo.
Basicaly the wrong engine was fitted a few years back with too high a static CR so the bastid pinks.
There's no way you can re-map the original ecu so i need to try something like the EMS6 black box.
I wonder if it'll work on a 5 cyl.turbo mill?
