if you have virgin / sky tele box
would adding an aerial to the system improve the picture?

is it not picking up all the channels or a bad signal. if so u may need a booster installed

Virgin comes through co-ax from the street. It's most certainly not fibre to your house (even though their advertising may make you think otherwise
).
Sky comes through co-ax from the dish/LNB.
Neither of which have anything to do with terrestrial antennas or signal boosters.

As above. No aerials are involved with either Sky or Virgin. Sky comes from a satellite dish, and Virgin TV comes from "cable" from below ground....

an aerial wont help, but if you make yourself a tin foil hat. put that on and stand next to the TV and do star jumps you'll get a better picture
