Default Passion BMW

I know alot of people on here own BMW's. I've just bought an E36 328i Sport and it's got a few issues. Can anyone recomend a good BMW forum where I can get some advice.

Cheers, Tom.

If it's just spinning then you need a new one. Funnily enough I'm sure there was a thread on there only this last week with the same problem.

It was just spinning and the previous owner went a bit rambo on it. He's removed the ignition barrel now and snapped the steering lock. I got to hot wire it to start it (still need the key to switch the immobiliser off). Need to work out the easiest and cheapest way to fix it.

The previous owner is a knob, they're easy to remove and BMW can supply a new barrel to match your key.

You need a new barrel mate, i just got one from the dealers a few weeks ago(not fitted yet), cost me £40 all in, but apparently abit of a fiddle to fit so you need to know what your doing or take it to someone who does.

You will need to take your log book and driving license before they hand it over though

I'm going to need second hand parts I think, need all sorts. I've made a thread on it. http://www.bmwowner.com/forum/viewto...p?f=1&t=147595

It's all hacked up. The previous owner said he was broken down and hot wired it to get back home.

Nice one mate, you posted it in the correct section aswell

Give it an hour or two or check tomorrow and you will have a few replys

The last owner was a complete bell end, he should have left it to the pros as what was a £100 fix is now going to cost more
