my years been pretty rubbish. after working for myself as a tiler throughout 2007, then being put out of work towards the tail end (unforeseen circumstances, and partially inexperience on my part) i got a job working for a security company doing driving at night. in feb this year i finally got taken on at a young offenders secure home in a carer/screw type role id applied for. i met some great people and had some good laughs but in august i'd had enough and walked out one day never to return. been back at the security company since, while i take stock and reevaluate my options. after two amazing trips to see my brother, sister, stepmum and friends in california, ive decided ultimately, i want to be living over there. had a few dramas and headfucks with women this year. ditched an awesome girl here in the summer for one i met in america, only then to be ditched by girl in america shortly after. wounder. all in all, couldve been worse, but couldve been a hell of alot better. feel like i did very little positive this year.

having recently got the news my parents are emigrating next year its given me a fairly short period of time to sort myself out. my best option currently seems to be save like a bastard for the next 5 months or so, and then go out to california and start a business. this now being my only way to get there legally other than marrying some yank bird. after the distinct vagueness of last year, i really want to make a big change this year. which, i will have to in one way or another with my last remaining close family f*cking off. i hope with every ounce of my existence things work out for me in america, because my options otherwise are pretty f*cking bleak. with no family, and very few good friends anymore, living here doesnt sound like much fun at all.

hopefully this time next year my life will be totally different, and ill be on the other side of the planet!

wow where do i start? year started off great until my friends wedding on the 29th of Feb. Ruth (the missus)got a phone call on our way out the door from her step dad asking us to go round as her mam wanted to see us, obviously we couldnt go as we'd already arranged to go to our friends wedding however Ruth knew there was something wrong and as such we left half way through the night. Got to Ruth's mams to find her mam in tears......found out she had breast cancer.

In May we lost our very much loved house rabbit Guinness suddenly, he didnt think he was a rabbit, more a human, never known a rabbit like it. He was only 2 1/2 years old so it came as a real shock.

two weeks before our wedding my mam and dad came round mam burst into tears telling us she had some bad news.....she'd be diagnosed with breast cancer too!!!! I dont think you could put any odds on both mothers getting cancer within 3 months of each other.

Anyway two weeks later the best day of my life arrived, nevermind best day of the year, our wedding day and as if it wasnt special enough Ruth had sneakidly organised through a friend of ours to have an escort cossie pick me up from home when i was expecting a shanky old Rolls Royce, then i had the massive surprise of seeing Ruth walk down the aisle in a dress that just made her look like a princess.

Most recently i've just FINALLY got my leather seats for my car....chuffed to bits and also a small feature of my car in a magazine at the scotch corner all ford meets i organise by fast ford mag.

So in a nut shell the only good things that have happened to me this year is my wedding day and my leather seats.....not too sure which one i was more excited about lol.

Had a very stessfull time until around August, thought i was going to loose everything. Then work gets in the way of me and girlfriend spending "quality" time together.
Apart from that , not too bad....


Next year, better time with girl, and a holiday. Not been away for two years!! Just have to see how it goes...

2008: good bits were finishing college and getting my driving licence (passed last week). bad bits were losing my job and having no money.

2009: hope to go back to college and do motorsport course.

2008 started of pretty wank loosing a very very dear friend to cancer a few days before my birthday.

I have spent most of this year in a sexless relationship (real tears)

Met some fantastic people this year, and made some great new friendships for life.

for 2009 I want to end the year in a good job (maybe not the same one im in now) with good friends, all my family still around me.

2008 a good year if a little univentful.

had a huge garage built, bought an S1, tinkered and sold it on.

Moved into new business premises, took on a new chap, new clients and more business. Bought/buying a second house for the misses dad.

Mate announces he is getting married, another mate announces he will be a dad - I avoid both of these with the misses for another year lol!!

Hopefully 2009 will bring...

More sucess in the business, a smooth house move and renovation for her old man and some more bits done on my place.

2008 has been a shite year for me, sold my rcs, bought frst, sold that bought pug 307. bought a brand new appartment with my fiance, split up nion year later, lost well paid job due to redundancies, got new crap payed job, moving back to parents. stuck with poxy desiel focus when i eant another rcs. in a load a debt because of the appartment. drifted away from mates.

to sum it up. SHITE

2009. not in so much hurry to grow up. get a rcs go to ring, track days, lads holiday, see my mates, leg over when can, get some money behind me.

2008 has generally been a good year for me. Got my first "proper" job during the summer for an engineering firm, really enjoyed it and was offered a job there once i graduate. Bought my Golf during the summer and am still loving it. Went to London, Dublin, Spain, Alton Towers, had my 21st and went to a stag do! Nothing went overly bad.

2009: 6 month placement (abroad hopefully) for uni from June-Dec, so im looking forward to that. Other than that, mayby i'll save up and get an Evo/EsCos.

2009 - hopefully he can live the rest of his life without to much pain .

2008 - worst year yet. Went to uni, made some good friends, including two in particular. Started this fresh uni course, life was good. 2nd semester, it all turned to shit, one of these best friends has done me for harrassment, because he told everyone all the secrets we shared in life (turns out he made his one up about being abused when little, cunt) and i threatened him. Then he turned everyone onto me to help himself as witnesses to me threatening him. Hes also best friends with our tutor so my course is fucked too. I have no idea what im doing with my life anymore. The only positive thing is my confidence has finally come out of its shell so i get on well with women and friends in social circles. Lately have been drinking alot, infact last week i wasnt sober at all from tuesday - this monday. Might even be turning alcoholic, but not particulary worried because I know myself therefore know i can quit when i want to.

Also started smoking again, for some reason i really enjoy it. :S

So all in all mega shit year, ive gained one good friend, lost none and gained no others. Ive had lots of sex and good times, but mainly drunk for all of them.

What occured to me the other day is how long this year has dragged on compared to others

2009- who knows, hopefully starting my own business!

2008 - Caught the my fiance cheating, Had a good 22nd B'Day, Met Sinead, Started Uni and lost my best mate 3 weeks ago to ALS Disease.

2009 - Touch wood that everyone has a good year.

2008 - First year in my own house with my girlfriend and it has gone perfectly Got a promotion at work and also a great pay rise not long after as well Managed to get 4 weeks of snowboarding in around the world and a week of MTBing in the French Alps. Only real downside was breaking my ass (coccyx bone) again snowboarding and the treatment not working - have spent 2 years in constant pain with it now Also had my first own fault car accident in 8 years of driving, only major damage was to my wallet

2009 - I'm kicking it off with a snowboarding holiday to be in the mountains for the new year. Aside from that hopefully more of the same, getting mroe work done on my Mk1 Escort and maybe getting my tail bone removed

Started Ok ish. Peaked around June with a little road trip to Germany. Then a gradual decline where I decided I'm sick of everything Culminating in Redundancy in October. On the plus side, I finally dropped a parasitical "mate" so it's not all bad.

2009.
Hope to find work obviously. (or win the Lotto ) I'd also want to raise my bedpost notches a fair few .

2008: was the worst year of my life so far .... upside is that i discovered inner strength i never new i had, and learnt a lot about myself and other people along the way that will help me massively for the rest of my life

2009: Can`t get any worse i hope, so i`m praying it will be onwards and upwards from here on
