Default f**kin central heating boilers!

since it was fitted a couple of months ago its been nothing but trouble.

keeps cutting out and needs resetting, then wouldnt do that.had engineer out last week who replaced something.....

yesterday afternoon it decided to stop working and will not reset-we were due to go out last night so had to get washed in cold water and the central heating wont come on so its freezing at home now!

supposed to be a decent make -ferroli.......must be the ford of the boiler world!!

been on to ferroli at 8am this morning and they said they cant get anyone out to us until the 29th.
dont fuckin think so........
i have a 4 year old in a freezing cold house with no hot water.....

my dad is a builder and got us the boiler from his supplier-they are currently trying to force them to get someone out,or they will get someone out to repair it at their cost-hopefully.

terrible customer service if they are prepared to leave a family without hot water and heating for 7 days in winter.....

feel like booking in the hotel up the road and charging it to them!

sounds about right, we had the same problem last year and it was freezing in the house for days. I think they fact you have a 4yr old though, is kind of a ace card, that should be the magic words that gets you seen asap i thought.

anyway, worth taking out cover in my opinion

Fuck

Its a ferolli thats been fitted at my place about 4 months ago .........although i didnt have to pay for it the fuckin thing keeps loosing pressure and have to keep opening the valve to build it up again, i dont think it should be doing this roughly 2-3 times a fortnight should it ??

Its a pisser where i live when the heating packs in as its a very very old 3 storey flat right on the coast edge so its freezing 24/7

As I said, bosch are no better, you want proper, german made stuff.

The guy who fitted our budrus is a good mate of mine, they are one of the best you can buy, but you will pay extra for it though.

fit and forget as he said

Ferroli are the budget shit out there........................

I would NEVER reccomend one for someone, and if they ask for one i will say to them to spend the extra few quid and get a Worcester Bosch or a Vallient......

You get what you pay for

well,we managed to get hold of a ferroli engineer-he works for himself but covers this area for ferroli.he had finished for the day but had said he had rung them before finishing to see if there were any jobs outstanding in the warrington area-they told him there were not!
anyway he came down, rang ferroli from our house and they told him to do it-apparently a faulty gas valve was the problem......
he said ferroli have gone downhill now and if we get any more probs to ring him and he will sort it out through him with ferroli.

anyway the house is warm, the mrs is happy and i bunged the plumber £50 for helping us out.everyone is a winner.....
