everyone seems to rave about Manfrotto! im just to buy a tidy tripod, so im not too sure

i must be honest, i have spotted a few contradictions in his reviews now

also i just found out my girlfriend has bought me a D300 aswell as a SB600 for xmas :-DDDDD

You've got her well trained!
Have a look on Thom hogan's site, he offers user guides for all NKikon camera's and they are very good for the little money they cost.
