How do you do in XP without SP2

its something in control panel ??

More than likely got something thats set to run in the registry.. try adaware first.. the look in add/remove programsand remove anything that doesn't look familiar

start menu > control panel > administrative tools > services

make sure "messenger" is disabled and stopped so it doesnt start up again.

thats the most common problem for xp popups

i clicked on start menu then control panel i have nine options to choose from but admin tools isnt one of them????? mines xp pro ???? what else would it be under???????
