Why do people waste your time when your selling stuff

Guy said he was coming at 2 today waited in all afternoon he txts me at 4 "o" clock i am on my way now i have heard nothing since.

I really don't get why you would mess someone about ?

life's full of them chap i won't wait for anyone and get them to come to me if poss, i meet them at a service station ang get them to ring when they get there it's the only way

 

Try tuning cars for a living time wasters are an occupational hazard,booking in and not turning up is the norm

 

does piss you off, you learn not to go out of your way to much, if they want something they will arange it, although i had a good one yesterday, sold the saff, nice chap, had a bit of a haggle, struck a deal, he came & collected the car, when he got home he pm'd to say 'thanks & the car was great to drive home'

 

Not quite a timewaster but i had a right twat call me yesterday about a Ka that im selling, its an old P reg thing that needs sills welded and power steering pipes replaced for the mot, still mot'd and taxed till end of this month and have it advertised locally as breaking for spares or repair for £100, worth that in parts im sure as recently had a new power steering rack and clutch fitted, also has a recon gearbox in it.

Anyway this pleb phoned about it and asked how long it was mot'd and taxed for ( said this in the ad ! ) then asked if there was any service history !! then wanted to know if its had any paintwork done on it or if there was any rust on it..... fuck me its advertised as spares or repair what the fuck do you expect !!!!!!!

Said he would have to think about it and hung up the phone !!!! WTF !

pisses me off all the time! had a few pieces for sale of my fiesta rst, people say they will send payment through the post and 50% of the time nothing will turn up!

 

Had a couple recently about my car which is still up for sale.

Most recent one (last Fri) e-mailed and said that he will be on Sat for a look.

Told him that he needs to call me during the week to confirm a time etc as i will need to arrange to collect the car as its in storage.

No call as of yet so in storage it will stay.

Should he call on Sat and say he's coming out i'm affraid he will be told to re schedule because taking someone to the place its laid up is just not going to happen.

 

I get fooked off with the phone calls,

"whats your best price?" and the add says no offers ffs.

Was selling a NON turbo impreza bug eye model last year, Advertised as a 2.0 sport non turbo model. got so many calls,

them "hi im calling about the impreza"
me "what would you like to know"
them "is it a turbo"
me "it says in the add its a non turbo model"
them " phone hangs up"

i only wanted £1500 which was dirt cheap at the time, so after it sold and people called and asked if it was a turbo, i said yeah but its sold, the amount of Oh noooo's and awwwww's was comical.

im sure most people cant read.
