dingy used to have one - real characters from what i hear. They used to have to peg it's ears back when it was eating cos it would growl at itself when it bit it's own ears
lamby and mr51 amb of the derbyshire group have 2 as well i think, not sure if they come on here

A friend of mine has a couple. and he says they are awesome! A bit stubborn, but once they know what youre trying to teach them they pick it up real quick!!
He says the same as Linsay.... he ties their ears back when they eat, gos they get into everything... and quite often they stand on and fall over their own ears too!

My mate has just had a litter of 10!
1 was found dead 1 was still born and the mother died during an emergency op!
The remaining 8 pups are being hand fed every two hours! he looks proper fooked when you see him

thats so sad mate, im def going to get another when my other dog passes away, shes getting on now. i wanted a basset for approx 10 yrs before i got mine, it ewasnt until i got her that i appreciated how lovable a breed they are, real characters. no matter how much you research and read about a breed you dont know what to fully expect until you own one.
i hope the others grow big and strong and arent affected by the loss of their mum.
