have you ANY idea how impulsive Sean is?

I actually talked him out of a Ferrari 430 once... GOD knows why

for him it would have never got driven and just cost him fortunes!

for ME it would have been free use of a Ferrari 430!!!

I called him back to change his mind.... but he saw STRAIGHT through me

Can be properly scary... BUT thats if you use Main dealers and put miles on it.

Yes the early cars had a few problems but most are known now and can be worked around and corrected and as Rc4 says you don't have to buy the parts from Lambo!

Do it Dave! nows the time....

Its a no-brainer for Martin.... hell he could do engineer a bombproof clutch for one and sell it as a conversion and make the car pay for itself as a demo/development car

more and more lambos will be owned by proper car enthusiasts who will want decent and cost effective ways of running cars like this RATHER than rich city twats you don't care if a service is Ł1k or Ł7k! (those boys are a DYING breed let me tell ya!) and so less people will put up with a new clutch every 3000miles or brakes etc etc...

I only use Porsche now for the services to keep my booked stamped or anything that needs fixing thats dangerous. Its just SILLY money for everything else. For example.... my main front rad needs changing... Porsche want Ł1800 to do it.... but I bought the brand new Genuine Porsche Radiator from Jasmine for Ł117 delivered and Stu is gonna fit it for me for beers.... oh and I had to buy him a cool Alloy low jack thingy as well. Still Ł1500 saved!!!!

Hello Martin, Good choice with the G. They are coming down hand over fist, so represent excellent value for money... I have some experience with them and Lambo's in general, so am happy to talk if you wish...Either way, try and buy a MY05 car.

I would drive an RS6 before you commit money to one. Personally I didn't rate it - great on Motorways, but nowhere else, and the auto box is just wank, even in manual paddle-shift mode - it just has NO character. Seriously, I'd rather retain an E46 M3, as dynamically it is STREETS ahead. The RS4 is a better all round car than the RS6 (if it has to be an Audi ).

For me, the E46 CSL is still my favourite all rounder, and these are still maintaining good money for low mileage examples.

I quite like driving LHD cars but wouldn't buy one instead of a RHD as it just screams cheapskate! I wouldn't mind one being LHD as long as I could have run it on foreign plates
