Pictures cannot describe how LARGE the girth is on this tree! All I can say is that out of all the Mike Rainbird trees available , I picked the FRANCO version!
Picked this up (literally) from Greenwich. Each year they set up in the village with freshly cut trees. We couldnt find a 'decent' one so I said we'd have the display one! He could barely pull it through the tree netting machine thingy whatsit.
Then I had to pick it up and throw it over my shoulder, lumberjack stylee and lug it 3/4 mile back to our house. Go on the guns!
aaanyway, shit iPhone pics but you get the idea... 2 packs of decorations (no tinsel.. tinsel is for council house pikestons) barely cover one side AND we had to lob off 1 ft from the top. 2 more packs on order !
The hammer & chisel came out to get the damn trunk bottom in the tree holder and the trimmer came out to lob off half the side nearest the wall. The TV is also 42" (yes yes yes, gay I know) for comparison.
