Default Sticky Throttle on E46 318 BMW help?

Ive got and E46 BMW 318i and seem to have a sticky throttle. It seems to be harder to push when the weather is damp. It was that bad the other day that the pedal felt like a 5 position switch as opposed to a throttle. This seems to be a common problem on the E46. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to cure this?

Thanks In Advance.

its a main dealer only part,i think there about 18 quid
thats the only thing you can do as with the cable removed the pedal is nice and three so is the throttle butterfly.
