oh yeah thats another point.... can I buy some ford wheels and fit them with spacers or something or is it other way round on the offsets?? I dont want to waste money buying pug only wheels when i could use them on my other car possibly.
Going on Stu's recomendations a fitted the K&N filter that replaces the original 1 but retains the airfilter box! Cylinderical in shape so am loathed to call it a pannel but you get the idea!

The OZ titans that were originaly on the RS were a 36 offset and needed to get -21mm spacer plates and longer bolts availabe as a kit for around £40.

thats the book figure but thats well gay! and ive not been sitting in traffic either much

ive bought a fuel filter, and ive just won a K&N induction kit on ebay??! forgot id bid on it!! its like a cone filter that goes into the standard airbox with a bit of fettling - hmmm i dont want it to knacker up owt or sound daft, kinda won it by mistake - anyone have one or just have the regular panel type filters? any good?

oh and pug wanted £47 for diagnostics to look at the rev counter for an hour looking at it with no guarrantee of fix thats just to even look... any ideas where else I could take it as it annoys me not having everything working right?

That mpg figure seems very low, does sound like it needs a good service. Are you sure you put 12.7 gallons in btw? You would've had to have been driving on fumes! They only hold about that much in total!

Service the car mate and change the Derv filter!

My old 306 stuggled to get above 30mpg.. In all fairness 30mpg is quite good if you ask around. My old mans derv does 22mpg (or 10 when i'm driving it )
