As above guys, fancy something a bit different to take the bike to the track. Would love to burn a few racers back from the track in my van!!

 

My mate has a ex RAC van that he has fitted a Cosworth 24v V6 into that he wants to sell.

i have pm'd him and left message on his thread but he hasnt got back to me, i cant see the pics of it as i am on an oilrig overseas and the connections pish! Asked him to send me pics to my email and details, think i found some details about it on another site. Is it the one that was in the mags a few years back with the six recaros in it? If so i know the van but i need him to tell me how much he wants!!!

I also need to know if i can fit a motorcycle in the back! It needs to be able to take me and the bike plus some tools generator, bits and bobs for racing?

 

i dunno if you would fit your bike in the back unless its a mini moto.
i sold a swb tranny ex rac to a road racer who transported his bike and kit to races all over europe and even kipped in it only he didn't have a second row of chairs in the back

 

i thinks its on ebay for around 10k +

arent you on a decent satlink??? even the crappy MoD one ive used was ok with pictures Youd think the oil companys would be minted and fit decent gear.

 

yeah you'd think wouldnt you! Its cos we use it for email, phones and its constantly got an up link that sends/recieves data from all over the rig to houston. (apparently) the ones i used to work in the north sea had broadband but i am in Angola!! Nuff said! Thanks for sending the pics mate, its the van i wanted to buy years ago but i have a feeling its going to be too pricey to justify running to the track and back with the bike was looking for something a bit cheaper but you never know maybe its not 10 grand! Hopefully the guy will contact me today.
