Thinking of replacing my Mondeo 1.8 lx for something a little bit more fun to drive while my cossies in the garage having its bodywork sorted.

mk3/4 fiesta?
Ka's are fun cheap and reliable IMO

If you wana break from the blue oval, maybe a nissan micra 1.0GX?

and although it hurts to say, Vauxhall Corsa B's are cheap, generally reliable, and very easy to work on/maintain

oh the shame

Lol! @ the shame!

Was thinking along the lines of something with a bigger engine tbh.

Did think about an XR4x4 or something like that.

the odd xr 4x4 twin turbo comes up cheap, would be fun if dont mind the running costs!
i want to get another 'pub/work' car, i fancy a 306d turbo, seem reliable, got a bit of power & cheap to run.

An old Alfa

My first was a 155 2.0 16v for £450...... added an exhaust and K&N and it was astoundingly good fun! Enjoyed it more than my current 155 V6 probably.

any old sierra with the diff welded up would be ideal! the d turbo idea sounds more practical tho, decent motors if theyve been looked after, cherry burner!
