Saying that she would look after your kid better than EA would your engine....

I'm going to get a sticker on my runabout "I've been bummed up the rear with no lube by Engine Advantages".

We should all start a club. Our membership will be quite large me thinks. Unfortunately I am the chairman as I was interfered with in the rectum the most.

I wouldnt let them change my oil.

A year or 2 ago I gave them over Ł600 to 'map' my Omex on Zetec Turbo, and it ran like shite. Proper shite and did single figures mpg.

Took it to Stu @MSD and he told me Paul had downloaded (FOR FOOKING FREE!) a map for a STANDARD Zetec from the fooking Omex website and not touched it! So no wonder it drove like shit! And he charged me through the nose for something I could have done!

Den of cunts that place.

Morning Ray,

Yes I remember the very conversation (last December if I recall?) where I specifically told you that EA would f*** up your car if you took it there. I gather it didnt run right then!!

NMS would have saved you grief if you had gone straight there. Hope you get it sorted in the end. Speak soon mate.

thats not fair, they DID touch the map,,, the turned off the map sensor settings so it would run with the 3 bar !!!

they also changed me 280 quid PLUS VAT to fit a head gasket to a engine,,, that i supplyed all the parts for AND the engine wasnt even in a fucking car !!!

oh and it took em 2 fucking months to do so aswell !!!!

i also remember telling you NOT to go there simon,,, and you still went there,,,,, AND to go to MSD,,,,, which yoy refused and innthe end i booked you in and drove you there and back,,,,, and well who did you just take your cossie to when you got it

You got off lightly. EA charged me:

Ł140 extra for fuel to map my car even though we had "agreed" a fixed price to build and fit the engine.

Ł30 extra for jubilee clips even though we had "agreed" a fixed price to build and fit the engine.

Ł1800.00 to fit a GT35 Turbo and external wastegate that I supplied myself!

Ł600.00 to repair a heagasket after it blew in 3 places at 48psi on the test drive when picking up the car for the new turbo as above

Asked Ł5000.00 to rebuild the engine when it blew up (and im talking Hiroshima style!) on the test drive after I'd paid the Ł600.00 for the headgasket above. This Ł5000.00 was allegedly cost price to do me a favour!! Datalogging revealed 52psi of uncapped boost.

Dont forget the Ł6200.00 "extras" bill they gave me when I picked up the car at the original engine build. The list was almost farcical.

So when you go to EA.....the bill is not the bill. It is the pre bill of the draft bill of the proposed bill.

I since call Paul Hills "More Bills".

Well I have a graph that shows 576bhp and 490lbs or torque. Think is, cant see how he could ever have measured it, as it would have blown itself up every time I drove it!

But on the day of the explosion....it seemed like the millenium falcon as it went into hyperdrive.....for about 3 seconds....

No. His missus rang me up grizzling saying that it would "ruin their business" (but it was fine to ruin my bank balance?), so at the time I had the relevant thread on here locked as it was getting heated! (july 2004!). There was a great picture of two cowboys lassoing my engine in a field. It was pure brilliance but not funny at the time!

Someone had a theory on here that he'd got his wife to peel a bag of onions and ring me!

She said they had no spare money to fix my car. EA said they would get some parts for me to sell towards my new engine as compensation but it never materialised.

Yet he recently came on here during another EA slagging off thread to brag "he was doing very well thank you".

And I am still down a 5 figure amount in my bank account!

I so wish I had taken him to court! I doubt he'd be here now if I had! Is it not too late? Lol.

By the time they talk you into a ava special one off management and fit it you'll decide you've had enough of cossies and break it.
