38mm offset on a Focus

What offset are ST170 alloys? looking at some 17" to replace the 18's on my focus but they are 38mm offset so want to compare them to the correct st170 size, they have the correct 215/40x17 tyres.

I'm pretty sure the ST170 is a 49 offset Dan, my 18's are a 42

what rim width? think i best try before i buy as dont want them sitting wrong.

unsure if theyre a big difference Danny.

but my Focus RS has 42mm offset wheels as factory - and theyre 8x18's

i work out that a 7.5x17 with 38mm offset will sit in about 2mm more than a FRS 8x18 42mm offset. an 8" rim with 38mm will sit out 4mm more than a FRS rim.
