It all depends on how much some wants it I suppose. It's the sort of car that's outside of the boundaries of normal price listings, so it's whatever someone's prepared to stump up.... How much would you be prepared to pay (presuming you had pots of disposable income)?

It got driven alot with the ex owner (Chris Richmond). We went to the Genk factory, in build number 1, it is worth what someone is willing to pay
the same price that Chris paid for it,

Chris only bought number 1 to piss ,Barber off, to prove that number 1 was stamped up off the production line, because barbers number 3 is down

For me the fact that 001-004 had loads of testing and work done to them makes them far cooler and more desireable. Just seems a shame that there are so many little bitches so intent on stirring things up continually.

while we have an rs500 anorak here, is it true that they only made 496 and not 500 like they were supposed to? these other 4 being the remainder?

and why have you got that ali g lemur as your picture

They made 4 pre-production ones and 496 production ones. Presumably to speed up the homologation process they sold the 4 to make 500.

And the lemur - It just makes me laugh! It's a gif of it wanking, but for some reason it's 'gifness' doesn't work.

AS AN EDITOR OF FAST FORD MAGAZINE< YOU NEED TO GET SOME FACTS RIGHT, OR ARE YOU BEING TOLD THE WRONG FACTS

They made 500 on the production line at Genk. The first car off the production line was GG38600------to GG39099
Build numbers from Tickford was in any order. Number 1, by (FORD ) the only car (FORD DID) was 171 car on the production line of GENK,
Number 2,was 150 car of the production line at GENK..
Number 3, was 159 car of the production line at GENK..
Number 4,was 194 car of the production line at GENK..
Number's 2, 3, 4, were DEVOLOPEMENT car's by (TICKFORD) and NOT PROTOTYPE car's
(BUILD NUMBERS were given by TICKFORD on the order they went in)

They were made as 3 doors, at Genk, but they had unique chassis numbers, from GG38600 to GG39099, Tickford converted them to RS500's

Keep your knickers on!

There were 4 development cars, which could also be referred to as pre-production models. The Genk number is not the issue here. I can't see how what I wrote is so hideously wrong that you need to shout about it.

I refered to them as pre-production as that's an easy way to explain it to Dojj.

From you're previous posts on the topic you've obviously got a major issue with the whole 'RS500 issue', and I'm not going to get dragged into a silly pedantic issue over it just because you've had a big row with someone about it.

My knickers are on LOL.
If they can't get the information right in 21 years,
how is it going to be right for the next generation

good read, Number 3 has an actual Eggenberger racing engine, that was downgraded to road spec ,the cars didn't have an easy life either and accidents weren;t uncommon,(Interestion read)
