Just been watching some cop show and they pulled a guy with no docs and told him it was an offence to not have them with him.
WTF
Have they recently changed the law or something?? I never remember it being a legal requirement to carry documents with you.
I dont carry anything other than insurance cert and maybe some ID on me (usually have at least a cash card etc on me).
I wouldnt want to leave all my docs in car as its a thiefs easy way to get all they need to sell it on quick
Surely if its law to carry them they wouldnt issue producers, but just charge you with a specific offence????

And i always carry my driving license card with me, but recently being carring my insurance docs with me due to being pulled over twice in one week cos my celica wasnt showing on the insurance database.

yeah road wars
and yes this country
Yeah i carry insurance cert for just that reason as they seize car now if you cant prove it, where as if you got certificate they can always ring the claim line 24/7 to check if thier normal phone line aint open and your not showing on the database.

Yes but im of "that age"

I just dont see why we should pander to stupid police demands when they have databases to show them the same info. Its only the insurance one that seems dodgy
Sums up the insurance industry
