Default MT75 gearbox polybushes

Has anyone got any pictures of them fitted or pictures of the process of fitting them?

a 4x4 box, are they for the cradle Kev.

if they are,you have to knock out the original metal in the cradle and then they will go in ok then.

Thats the ones, but im fitting it in a 2wd box. And the ones on the top dont have bolts going through them like on the 4x4 ones. It has sleeves sticking out instead and the polybushed sleeves are not a tight fit on them. So didnt know whether to put the old ford bushes back in the top or not. And i thought the larger bushes had to be fitted from inside out?

I see Martin does a set of alloy bushes> http://www.reyland.co.uk/Details.asp?ProductID=112

What do you think the advantage of installing these over the poly ones would be? I'm wanting to upgrade mine, but not sure to go for the alloy ones or not.

Cheers
John

alloy ones would have no give in them. But on a 2wd box the smaller ones would not fit because the hole in the middle would be too big to fit over the sleeves on the box.

problem is that the twd mt75 box doens't have anything for the rear bit to hang on to so you can't even swap the cradles over

and the fitment on the selector ends is differnt too
