I'm pretty sure there are different flywheels for different models, and that's the danger with a solid conversion - that there does seem to be some guesswork involved in getting the right one.

If the garage supplied the parts and the job is not of satisfactory quality then they have to rectify it. If however you supplied the parts, you'll get no where!

I'd suggest asking on talkford.com as quite a few members on there have extensive knowledge of DMFs and solid flywheels.

Solid conversions are risky as the harmonics of the drivetrain are engineered fir the DM so you risk early failure of the gearbox with a solid conversion
