i could work day n night 7 days a week and have in the past for years doing 80-90 hours a week.........grabbing sleep (and drink) when ever.........but i have a family now so i either work 6 or 7 days a week....but half days on a weekend..........around 50-60 a week

and 27 days hol a year plus a fair amount of overtime..so I can't grumble

Run my own Gas/plumbing and occassional Air conditioning buisness with my brother. AMBER MS CORGI Registered. Great work and always have to smile no matter how big the PRI*K is we are doing install/service etc..for. Service with a smile, sevicing and breakdown is great for the brain, keeps you on your toes. But install is great for getting stuck in and flat out.

My job description states that I have to work "whatever hours needed to get the magazine out on time", or words to that effect. But the hours are as flexible as I want them to be.

Transmission Specialist for the Subaru World Rally Team (Prodrive). Contracted hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. However, here is the crunch, our contracts say we will work as many hours that are needed to complete whatever we are working on. This generally works out as an average across the whole year as an 8pm finish. That includes working weekends where necessary.
The icing on the cake is that all overtime is unpaid!!
