What job do people have and what hours do they do.
Ive just started a new job this week working on the royal mail vans. I have 2 shift patterns the first 1 is 6am to 2pm and the 2nd shift is 10am to 6pm. Ive just done a 6am to 2pm today and i think its mint been home early. So people what jobs do you do and what hours do you do too.

trainee accontant, 8.30 till 5 mon till friday
I usually do 8 till 5.15 though but with longer breaks, I take a break when I want anyway.....
Hope to be qualified as soon as I can and start getting a salary that begins with a 5 rather than a 2 like it does now
then I will have my line up of cossies!!

so far this year, i've worked 2640 hours
i "should" have only worked 2080 in the whole year as a total
so i'll have clocked up around 800 hours worth of overtime on my basic, and that's without the 200 odd hours i've done over the weekends
i start at 6 everyweekday, 7 on a saturday, and then work till i'm finished, be it 2 pm or 12:30 am like it has been in the past
the other week i did 75 hours, putting in 15 hour days plus the weekend
and what do i do? i sit in an office, making sure that everyones got what they need to get out on the road in the mornings, then i go out and do a round myself, then come back and make sure everyones finished what they are doing before going home
i've got to make sure the vans are roadworthy, all the paperwork is up to date, everyone is in uniform, check the vans every morning for new bumps and scrapes, etc, etc
and i'm also on 24 hour call out if the fridge packs up
