Gordy, do the bank you are paying the cheque into and the sortcode of the cheque match?

I.e (if it is a bolton barclays branch) the sort code will be 201071 and so is the one on the cheque

cut off time at HSBC is 3:30pm.

Pay it in today and it will be cleared for withdrawl by Wednesday.

The latest the cheque can be returned is a week Monday though if its from someone dodgy (ebay etc)
