Default pros and cons of a dump valve

right can someone give me the low down on a recirc silent dump valve for my escos. just replaced all hoses with roose ones and dont know wether to get one or just blank it off witha plug... will the car suffer without one or not ...cheers all.

MY OPINION FROM EXPERIENCE:
Driving witout d/v: Car respons better to throttle, power instantly when I push the pedal. Jerks/shakes the whole car when I back off gently, when the air rushes back towards the turbo.
Driving with d/v: Smoother drivingfeel. Have to boost up after gearchange(lag)

big turbo, greens , 3 bar, 60mm intercooler etc ta
