my first car was the 2wd saph..

when i got it it was completely standard even original tyres which lasted all of 2 days then i modified it to look like this with stage 1 tune




then stage 3.. then the custom 3 piece rims, then the stripes.. now the 452bhp SCS engine, quaife gearbox and diff and new Mo's

my first a 79 mini,1340,hi-lift cam,big valve head,flowed 1"3/4 su,port matched manifolds,cherry bomb with 1800 marina back box ,wide arched,stripped out,perspex windows(black couldnt see out at night),matt black,semi deseemed,6" wide alloys with white walls .

still got it and may sort it out one day

i had a 1.1 fieaste mk2 rammed on chopped springs on xr2 pepperpots,slid it in to a kerb in the snow abandoned it at my dads house for 5yrs till i needed to dump a real xr2 there ha!

when i was 17 i bought a standard black 88 XR2, loved it to bits.

Put konis on it, K&n, piper exhaust and clear front and side repeaters. kept it on the pepperpots, looked shit hot IMO. I want another!

Cheers dude...keep thinking once its road legal again I may transfer the plate to the cossie. The bug will still get an age related plate issued so no worries there. Teardrops were a utter nightmare with the police...they didnt like red indicators

keep remembering all little bits i did,frenched front and rear lights,shaved the handles and locks on doors and boot,doors were on remote poppers,smoothed front n rear lower valances,flushed in the filler cap

did it all 20yrs ago long before the kevs were copying what they saw in lax power,hot rodders were doing it years ago,i copied them!

get it back on the road mate,i`m gonna do the mini.............one day

1979 dull orange mini bought from a guy in the local motor club.

It had weller wheels, a Janspeed exhaust and a spotlight on the boot lid.

I added a cage, bucket seats & harnesses, a set of Cibie Super Oscars and a CB radio.

Lasted 6 months then rolled it while practising my left foot braking LOL

Had my mate in the car and i can remember my last words, "watch this"

i had it for 4 months then put it through a mot and it failed big style the biggest bit it failed on was the chassis was splitting in the middle so we chopped it in for my old mans escort and got £250 for it

had a mk 1 fiesta 2 tone brown and beige 1000cc 3 engines fitted in 1 yearkept blowing them up,then fitted 1100cc engine, full exhaust system peco ,twin choke webber ..went like fook jumped a bridge in it and when landed front shocks collapsed ,rottten front turrets etc ...had to scrap it... drove that car like i stole it for over 12 months

Got my first car at 17,mk 3 escort 1.1 L 5 door in silver with blue interior,colour coded bumpers,fitted a genuine ford RS1600i front spoiler (cost £43 at ford dealer!)along with bonnet decal and fog/spot lights XR3i rear spoiler,mk 4 XR3i wheels,lowered 40mm,MK 3 XR3i front seats,steering wheel and gear knob.
