just sold a 306 tonight but for some reason its started cutting out if say come to stop at junction etc just stalls, doesnt do it all time, no probs starting or restarting.

thing is ive got to get it sorted tomorrow for them so they can take it away

any pointers? its the 1.48v 1998

when started it from cold this evening it didnt want to idle for 10 secs or so then was fine, and yet last week it was perfect, perhaps it just sisnt want to get sold lol

all i can think of so far is maybe temp sensor, or might just need a blast out with carb cleaner

My missus had a 1998 s 1.4 8v 306, and i remember at the time (a few years ago) changing the coil pack because there were a large number of them playing up in the cold, the end results were, the coil pack was spiking the ecu and shagging the idle control up.

A mate who was a tech at Pug at the time was changing at least 2/3 ecu's a month in the winter, all caused by the coilpack damage.
