Default Plastic polish......

Im wanting to get some light scratches/marks out of the plastics on my bike. They are bare plastic and would like to get them out whilst keeping a nice even shine on the panels.

Any idea what products work well for what i want?

Cheers.

Cheers guys ill give some of that a try. Will it bring the plastic to a nice even shine by hand though? Or would i have to mop them to add some heat?

Ive already tried some t-cut on the inside mate, it just dulls it and takes the shine off completely.

hmm, i have done all sorts of plastics exept the sort that are dull already and got great results, i even polished once a fiesta mk6 headlamp lense that had a scuff on it for a insurance job at a mates garage, it went perfect with t cut and the new headlamp went back, have done g3 too if the marks are slightly deeper.

I know what you mean with the headlights mate, i used to use t-cut on them all the time at work. As you say, brought them up mint. Im thinking the headlight plastic must be different type of plastic though and is much harder. The bikes plastics are VERY soft. I even tried the inside with the dremel on low very gentley with the polishing tool in and it just wore it away like butter!!!

davemark, i assume the bumper care stuff would just be a cover up though??? Same as the silicone spray, looks mint while its on, but crap again when its washed.

yeah used AG bumper care on my old golfs bumpers, looked mint for 2 whole days, and thats how long it took to apply it to all my plastics(well felt like it)
