Default Sky+ V's Virgin and BT???

Thinking of dashing off Sky as I wanted Sky+ but the cheapest theyll do it for is £75 as I havent a phone line

reason I'm fining it hard to pay um is that every man has his dog I know have gained Sky+ for feck all!!! I know three people who have it for nowte

Looking at Virgin as I have them for internet and they do TV + Phone + Internet + Mobile for £40 a month

How did you manage that...??

I am on the VIP package and that costs me about £80.. Thats an additional normal box in the bedroom, V+ (HD) ..20mb broadband and a phone package. I phoned them the other day and said I was going to Sky and they wasnt very helpful.

If you get a decent person on the phone at VM you can batter a good deal from them
Although the V+ box looks like an old betamax video it pisses all over the Sky box IMO,
Plus when/if it fucks up you get it replaced unlike Sky.

i actually don't watch a lot of telly mate, i just tend to have it on in the background or watch it with junior when he's watching in the night garden, mr tumble, cbeebies, milkshake, etc

you have to ask yourself why though, was it due to the lack of take up due to everyone wanting sky?

The main problem with Virgin is that shitty V+ box! It drives me bonkers whenever i'm at anyones house with it. It is so slow to respond to the remote and flick through the guide etc that i'd end up throwing it through the window if I owned it!

I have BT vision, but only because it was free We just use it as a freeview recorder in the bedroom.

I have 1 V+ box, XL TV package/L Broadband/and 24/7 free calls to landlines, etc. My package costs me £47 plus VAT a month, so fair play to you if you have an extra box and XL broadband for £40!!!

Oh and from last week, we got Sky 1, 2, 3, news and sommat else back, for no extra charge...

I looked at moving to Sky last year... had an engineer come out and say I wouldn't get a pole long enough to fit to my chimney to get reception because of the trees across the road.
