Default Help with home thermostat wiring please

This is the diagram for my current (mind of its own) thermostat:

1 has a red wire
3 has a yellow wire
4 has a blue one

This is the diagram for the new one:

Here's my guess:
should it be
1 gets the blue?
2 gets the yellow?
3 gets the red?

Needless to say, any help in avoiding burning my house down, killing myself by electric shock or worst of all, tripping a fuse, much appreciated
